Vinay Hebbar is SVP - International at Harvard Business Publishing (HBP). He leads HBP’s growth in International markets (i.e outside North America) across its three divisions, viz Higher Education, Corporate Learning and Harvard Business Review Group.

Prior to this role, Hebbar held regional roles with HBP as the Managing Director for the Asia Pacific region and before that the Managing Director for HBP India. In his role as the Managing Director for India, he led the commencement of the Indian operations of HBP, building its local team across the various business units in India, and venturing into new business models. He is also a member of the Managing Committee of Harvard Business School’s India Research Center.

Hebbar is rank holding Chartered Accountant, and holds an MBA from the Asian Institute of Management. He has also completed the General Management Program at Harvard Business School. He started his career with Arthur Andersen in India and served in senior roles with Arthur D. Little’s strategy consulting team in Singapore and Wolters Kluwer in Asia before joining HBP in 2007.

Gunjan Soni is the Chief Executive Officer at ZALORA. ZALORA is Asia’s Online Fashion Destination. Founded in 2012, the company has a presence in Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Hong Kong and Taiwan. She brings with her over fourteen years of diverse experience in Strategy, Marketing & Operations with a passion for AI & advanced big data analytics.

Before joining the company, she was formerly the Chief Marketing Officer at Myntra and Head Jabong Business. In this role, she was responsible for Marketing for Myntra platform Brand and Myntra Fashion brands. She was also responsible for the Jabong business and managing its P&L. Previously she was EVP for Strategy and CEO Office and prior to that she was a Partner at McKinsey in the Consumer and Marketing practice and worked across multiple consumer sectors and geographies including India, UK, Singapore and Bhutan. She is credited for starting McKinsey’s Scientific Marketing practice for India.

She has been recognised in the Economic Times Top Leaders 40 under 40 2018, Fortune 40 under 40 2017, 'The Economic Times - Women Ahead' listed her among the top 30 women leaders in Business and IMPACT featured her in the 50 Most Influential Women (Rank 18) in Media, Marketing & Advertising in 2016 and 2017. She is on the Advisory Board for Ad-Tech India & London, Facebook Global Client Council, InMobi Advisory Board.

She has an MBA from XLRI, Jamshedpur.

Rama Bijapurkar is arguably India’s most respected thought leader on market strategy and India’s consumer economy. She has an independent consulting practice and works across sectors and organization types, describing her mission as “bringing market and customer focus to business strategy”. In addition to her consulting practice, she is on Boards of several blue-chip companies. She is a regular visiting faculty at the Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Ahmedabad, her alma mater, and is a member of its Board of Governors..

Rama has published several books - “We are like that only”, “Understanding the logic of Consumer India”, “Winning in the Indian Market”, "A Never Before world: Tracking the evolution of Consumer India” and “Customer in the Boardroom: Crafting Customer based Business Strategy."

Rajiv has served as the MD and CEO of The Hindu Group over the past 5 years. His responsibilities spanned all non-editorial operations of the publishing business including full P&L responsibility. He drove the financial turnaround of the operations, the digital transformation of the publishing business and the modernisation agenda for the privately held, family owned organization of 140 years.

In addition Rajiv serves as an Independent Director on the Boards of 1) Sundaram Finance Limited, a publicly listed NBFC with nearly INR 25000 Crores of Assets Under Management 2) Northern Arc Capital, a 10 year old NBFC that acts as a bridge between capital market investors and emerging sectors, covering the entire gamut of credit opportunities for underbanked individuals and businesses in India and 3) Kaleidofin, a fintech company with a mission to propel underbanked and bottom of the pyramid customers towards meeting their life goals by providing tailored financial solutions. Rajiv also serves on the Board of Management of Krea University, a higher education institution focused on liberal arts and management education (IFMR Graduate School of Business).

Prior to joining The Hindu, Rajiv was a partner with McKinsey & Company, where he spent 11 years primarily serving institutions in the financial services sector (banking, life & general insurance, asset management, private equity, microfinance and payments), the social sector (financial inclusion and public health) and advising family owned businesses. He co-founded McKinsey’s Chennai practice. Prior to McKInsey, Rajiv worked at American Express Company in New York, NY in the risk management team, US Airways in Arlington, VA in the Operations Research department and was a summer intern at the World Bank in Washington DC.
